Built in summer 2014 by Kuusamon Hirsitalot, this solid-log cabin offers a cosy setting for your holiday. It features a bedroom, living room, open-plan kitchen and dining area, sleeping loft, toilet and sauna, as well as spacious terraces for relaxing outdoors. A fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere, while a washing machine and drying cabinet make it easy to take care of clothes and outdoor gear during your stay.
The Kitkajoki River offers excellent opportunities for grayling and trout fishing, and the surrounding area is ideal for hiking and exploring nature. Kiehtäjänniva is just a 300-metre walk from the cabin, and the Vähänkäylä rapids are 1.5 kilometres away. In winter, a wilderness cross-country skiing trail runs right past the cabin, and you can also reach the cabin by snowmobile along a marked route.
Ruka’s activities and services are 20 kilometres away, and the nearest grocery shop is just two kilometres away. The cabin combines a peaceful natural setting with convenient access to local services throughout the year.
