Kitkajoen Harjustuvat (Kitkajoki Grayling Cottages) located in Kiehtäjänniva, River Kitkajoki, is a holiday village that focuses on fishing tourism in summer. The first Harjustupa 32G was completed in 1991, and since then it has been used as a rental cottage. After the completion of the town plan in 2012, we started building more cottages into the area. The cottages are privately owned and their rental is operated through Stella Polaris.

Kitkajoen Harjustupa 32A

For 6–8 people, prices starting from €105/day

Well-equipped holiday cottage by River Kitkajoki in Kuusamo. 2 bedrooms, open-plan kitchen-living room (dining for 6–8 people), loft, toilet, sauna, and large terraces, 90 m2 altogether. By the riverside. Great opportunities to fish for grayling and trout. Distance to Ruka Holiday Resort 20 km. Cross-country ski track runs right by the cottage.

No bedlinen service. The price doesn’t include end cleaning. 

The cottage check-in time on the first day of booking is 16:00. The check-out time is 12:00.

Minimum booking 5–7 days, depending on the season.

Kitkajoen Harjustupa 32C

For 2-4 people, prices starting from €100/day

Well-equipped holiday cottage by River Kitkajoki in Kuusamo. 1 bedroom, living room with kitchen, loft, toilet, sauna and large terraces, 75 m2 altogether. Great opportunities to fish for grayling and trout. Guide service, bedlinen and final cleaning available as additional service. Distance to Ruka Holiday Resort 20 km. Cross-country ski track runs right by the cottage.

The cottage check-in time on the first day of booking is 16:00. The check-out time is 12:00.
