Stella Polaris Adventures’ headquarters. Our Ruka–Kuusamo winter office opened for the 2013–2014 winter season in the former Ruka fire station. The building was completely renovated and transformed into a modern snowmobile rental centre.

Jyrävä Camping is located in Kauhaniemi, in the village of Juuma, approximately 20 km from Ruka.

The area is home to our Whitewater Rafting Centre, campsite, Kota Café, equipment rental shop and private lakeside saunas.

Stella’s Safari Center opened in December 2025 and is located right next to Ruka Salongi. It serves as the starting point for Stella Polaris Adventures’ winter activities, offering a varied weekly programme that includes snowmobile safaris and other guided experiences in the winter wilderness.

Its central location makes joining activities easy for both guests staying at Ruka Salongi and other visitors to the Ruka area.
